Studying Ag at a Land-Grant University? Apply for an FBN Scholarship
Since our founding, Farmer's Business Network, Inc. has proudly partnered with land grant universities to sponsor college students during their higher education journey in agriculture. We take pride in our Farmers First® mission supporting family farms and have made a commitment to support the development and growth of rural communities in North America. Farmers are the backbone of our food system, and students represent the future of agriculture.
For this upcoming academic year, we are celebrating our fifth year of the FBN Scholarship Program and are offering multiple $500 scholarship awards. We'll begin accepting applications on January 24, 2020, and the deadline to submit an application is April 17, 2020. Recipients will be announced in May 2020.
FBN Scholarship Program recipients will be selected by the following criteria:
- Junior or Senior standing undergraduate applicants must be enrolled at an eligible accredited land-grant college or university as a full-time student for the fall semester of 2020.
- Students must be enrolled in the following ag majors/fields of study: Agribusiness, Precision Agriculture, Ag Systems Technology, Agronomy, Ag Communications and Leadership, Ag Education, Ag Economics, Ag Science, Ag Biotechnology, Crop Sciences.
- Students coming from an agricultural background, or students who demonstrate an interest in precision agriculture data, will receive first preference.

If awarded a scholarship, you agree that funds will be utilized for tuition reimbursement and will be dispersed via their university; funds cannot be used as personal income. If selected as a scholarship recipient, you will be required to provide an unofficial transcript.
